Fifteen years old he became a sailor and then he worked as a fisherman for many years. He was married to Elvy and lived in "Pärongården" in "Gislövsvägen".
He could be seen there playing boule with his neighbours long before that sport was up to date in Sweden. In the same way he was hard-working by sea, the same way he was playful on land.
He passed away in 1997, mourned and missed by anyone who had got the benefit of knowing him.
Kalle was a self-taught artist mostly with seascape pictures in his eyes. Bertil Torekull described him in the book "Life was a dream at Brantevik".
